What is the art of Tantra? Tantra is not a religion; it is a path of the heart, which causes the experience of ecstasy, enlightenment, or truth, regardless of one’s faith. It is the synergy between sexuality and spirituality. The focus is on the highest purest of intentions and acting for the higher good of another person. The act of giving and receiving occurs on many levels in our daily lives and the difference is with tantric exchanges this is not about instant gratification, secret agendas, using another for personal gain or acting on all sexual urges. There are misconceptions and those who misuse and abuse the meaning of Tantra. It is not about sexual orgies and acting on every feeling you have either. It is about using discernment and knowing when to connect and when to hold back. Your timing will also become masterful. It is an intimate experience that can practiced without any sexual contact at all and begins with a sense of having a connection to another. When you plug into another persons energy you have an opportunity to practice the art of LOVING by opening yourself up with pure intention in very conscious ways. It is the ultimate form of showing and giving respect to all and honoring another person that for some reason you feel a connection to. Usually, this is a sign of an alchemical relationship. These relationships on some level will create deeper meaning in your life. This does not always mean the experience will be pleasant, it means this person has come into your life to teach you something. The outcome resolves in you forming a deeper union with yourself and your spirituality. You grow from the experience. The alchemy of these types of relationships serve to ultimately create more loving balance.
In fact, some of you may not like this, but it is self control, being observant and bringing yourself to a state of heightened awareness. To do this, you must begin with your senses. This is all very innate and biological. Our senses our how we survive. We are no different than those in the animal kingdom that use their senses to find food or to sense danger. It is important tame the tiger though and work with the experience of what is taking place rather than rushing through things and not paying attention. Going into things with mindfulness not a veil of deception or seeing and feeling only what we want our experience to be in the moment. We must learn to savor the moment and be fully present. It involves tuning into your senses and going into the ZONE. In turn, individuals experience more fulfillment in things, including life and amazing how great it will be in the bedroom.
Tantric Sex is meditative, intimate, responsive & spontaneous. The kama sutra shares positions that are meant to increase vital energies within the body that create pure bliss & an altered state. It can raise your level of consciousness & even heal you. You know when you are experiencing this because you are not watching the clock, hoping your partner will go here or there, but actually fully present and emersed in the experience. The focus is not on the outcome, it is about focusing on the energies and exchange taking place in the moment. It’s about ebbing and flowing. When these energies are harnesses, there is a natural harmony or union that takes place. It is more of a sensual experience than sexual. You know the saying “it’s about the journey, not the outcome”!
If practiced with care, It is creates a great deal of respect for one another, no pressure and a lot of letting go of any expectations. Working you your intuitive sensing and practicing yoga are great ways to tap into this pure loving energy, it begins with yourself. A person who practices it can share it with another who may not even be aware, but they will not forget the experience. They will know meeting you or having been intimate with you was VERY different. Think of when you may have had a massage in the past from a stranger. It is just suppose to be a physical thing, but when a person has a certain energetic touch it enhances the bodywork and you leave thinking “wow that was something special”. There is a warmth. There is simply a difference.
The practice gives a feeling of freedom and being more in tune with yourself and others. It’s similar to what yogi’s call raising the KUNDALINI. There is no training involved in becoming a Tantrica or Tantric Practitioner. When I use this term it simply means, I’m here to love, I am a loving being. It’s amazing how those who are not ready to give or be loved are very threatened by loving human beings. Many people are practicing it already, but they are just not aware this is what they are doing. When you understand it the outcome is what you want – an exchange that is loving with others. There are unplanned exchanges that can occur with strangers or people you barely know or it can be done with lifelong partners. There are different degrees that tantra occurs. It is a feeling of bliss and can be done even with the same sex or relatives through conversation. Have you ever had just a pure exchange with someone and it left you just feeling so good and uplifted after. This is a form of tantra. It’s that total oneness or connectedness that we have with others without an judgements or agendas. For lovers, it may mean doing yoga, forming rituals or following the kama sutra. What’s great about tantra is it is the same energy that breeds creativity.
The practice of tantra is often misunderstood. The focus is on creating balance and feeling more centered so that we become more whole. It teaches transcendence of desires so we are not fearful but can reach our dreams, connect greater with people and reach our potential. When we open our hearts to people, we find happiness and the world around us becomes a better place. We become fearless and no longer fear ourselves or the people around us. It is about being truthful with ourselves and learning to explore our darkness so that, it too, can come to balance.
Many techniques are used to achieve this, such as body, breath, yoga, massage, rituals, the karma sutra (for lovers) and meditation. Tantra embraces our sensual nature it does not judge it as a bad thing, but as our authentic nature. Dressing the part to is a good thing. Being a little ornate is more the norm in order to attract others. Women emobdy their feminity while men do things to enhance their masculinity. The school of thought is that the yin and yang or masculine & feminine join to create balance.
The work focuses on “universal energy” and not religion. As mystical as this practice sounds, there is scientific evidence and research that shows that much is simply physics and it is the mystical & measureable experiences I have had throughout my life that has made me a believer in practices like this. All that I believe I have been able to measure. I am a testimonial of these practices and everything I have achieved in life is a result of my belief in them. I have always know about meaningful connections that seemed to be more than coincidence and how fate plays an important role in destiny. Hence the infamous book and video called “The Secret”. The Law of Attraction and my awareness is why all experiences I have had led me onto my path that involved a much higher purpose and why I respect everyone that comes into my life. I plan to do more speaking, writing and teaching related to powerful shifts and transformations of the mind, body and spirit. I currently offer one one on Personal Transformation Sessions by phone or in person. My clients receive immediate results and are able to easily integrate my teachings so they can find fulfillment in their daily lives.
